Roger Oakley

Roger’s pedigree comes from an initial career in operations for a chain of luxury hotels, followed by many years successfully selling MICE groups outbound from the UK into hotels and venues worldwide. He has headed up UK Regional and Global MICE sales departments for Princess Hotels, Accor and most recently, Sol Melia Hotels and Resorts. He is an active member of the MPI UK Chapter, sits on MPI’s Industry Advisory Panel and is well-known and respected in the marketplace. Roger’s great value lies in his depth of knowledge of the MICE market, his large contact list and the strong business relationships he has built up throughout his extensive career.

Vanessa McNair

Vanessa began her career with a Global Pharmaceutical company, running the in-house travel desk for worldwide employees and had an active involvement in developing corporate and leisure travel, global conferences and meetings. Vanessa grew up travelling the four corners of the world and her career has followed the same path. “I have been lucky enough to continue my passion for travel with my work and have visited and experienced many countries”. Vanessa specialises in the leisure sector. “I have worked with and represented hotels, resorts, bush camps and lodges throughout the Americas, Africa, India, the Far East and Europe“. Vanessa has managed and achieved leisure sales targets on behalf of several prestigious UK tour operators.

Jill Faulds

A member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, Jill Faulds is a PR specialist in the travel, tourism, B2B and leisure industry sectors. Her industry experience gained both in employment, as a consultant and in-house, has included: the handling of both UK and international hotel groups - from privately-owned country house hotels and hotel marketing consortia, to city centre, resort hotels and golf courses; airlines; restaurants/chefs; tour operators; destinations; meeting venues; river and ocean cruise lines.

Before forming and operating her own PR consultancy in 1997, JF Associates, Jill has worked in London and Edinburgh, with professional PR agencies and leading hotel companies – De Vere Hotels, Thistle Hotels, Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Elite Hotels and Grand Heritage Hotels International.
